Bugeye tail light mod

I've searched NASIOC, ClubWRX, here, and briefly i-Club.

The problem is that there are hundreds of threads about modding +'04-'07 tails and due to that clutter I can't find any threads relevant to me.

Trying to figure this out:

I found out how it was done. The owner of that car simply changed what bulbs were in what position.
