Lightbulb Carseat seat protector mat (kids carseat)

For those of us with kids we have to deal with child car/booster seats on a daily basis. I've gone through a number of various car seats over the past 7 years. One thing that I found is that they sometimes aren't very nice to your seat. Some have sharp edges on the bottom and will leave a crease in the seat material. Some also slide around. I found this car seat mat to be very useful. It keeps muddy feet off of the interior and catches crumbs Just thought I'd pass this on to anyone that may be interested.

Here is where I got mine:

I also found that site had good prices on car seats too. I really like Britax seats myself.

There is a long tab in the back that you tuck inbetween the seat bottom and back to hold it snugly in place.

The bottom has a flap that extends down far enough to keep wet shoes off the interior. It also has a net to hold stuff.

The edges have hard vinyl material that will help prevent creases that car seats can leave, especially in leather.

Just an update these many years later. My kids have been out of car seats for some time now. Heck one is big enough to sit in the front when I say big enough I mean bigger than me Okay no mean feat but still. These mats have held up really well over the years. Now I use the mat when I take my dog in the car. Keeps the hair off somewhat and it's drool proof Plus the dog gets better traction too.
