I'm going to try to keep this simple. I worked through the process below and was satisfied with the results. I make no promises, but hopefully the information is helpful. I kept the picture size and quality down to load quickly.

Gather the stuff:

Goof Off "Professional Strength" - it says not to use this with vinyl, which I promptly ignored and used anyway.

Scotch Brite High Performance Cleaning Cloth: I'm sure other cloths would work fine, but this type of rough cloth worked very well for me.

Toothbrush: one you don't mind throwing away.

I then applied a liberal amount of the solvent to the rag and lightly and evenly sponged it onto the Warning. After waiting a few moments, I started rubbing the warning off. I used one part of the rag to wipe off the majority of the "paint", and then I used a clean section to start scrubbing. I had to scrub quite vigorously to get the "paint" out of the textured vinyl. I used small circular strokes and tried to minimize stretching the vinyl, all the while re-wetting the rag with more solvent.

The edge areas of the warning seemed to be the hardest to remove. Even after a lot of work with the rag and solvent, the edge areas were still apparent. I grabbed an old tooth brush and used it (each time dipping in solvent), to work out the areas along the edges. Again I used small circular motions. I never completely eliminated the discontinuity between where the warning was and the rest of the vinyl, but I was still pleased with the results.

The next pic shows what the visor looked like after I was finished with the removal process. You'll also note that I took the clear plastic band off with a scissors and knife. I just didn't like the looks of it.

I then dried any excess solvent off the visor, hand smoothed the vinyl, and then put the visor on a flat surface under a stack of phonebooks over night to press the vinyl back into shape.

The finished product -- (yes this is the opposite visor), but I used the same process for both, and they both look similar.
