If you're thinking of tinting your own windows, I highly recommend having it professionally done. If you shop around, you can get it done cheaply and it will look awesome.

I got 5% visible light transmission (VLT) tint on the back windows and back doors ("limo" tint) and 50% VLT on the front doors (legal max in VA)

This was done by TnT Tinting Specialists in Virginia Beach, VA. They did a great job and had me out of there in about an hour. They only charged $189 for the whole car with a lifetime guarantee.

looks AWESOME!!! I just had my windows tinted too, but up here in Maine, laws are different, so I had to go with platinum all around, 50% in the rear and 35% on the sides for my 98 legacy 2.5 GT. I know that the platinum makes a big difference with the heat factors!
