I've seen a couple of posts where people have upgraded their head unit an then got very poor radio reception. I believe it has to do with the fact that with an on-glass antenna, there is a signal booster. Make sure that power is still supplied to this booster when you upgrade. I haven't done this myself and if anyone finds out which wire to power please let me know and I'll update this page.
