Installing a Sparco shift knob is a piece of cake.
You need to unscrew the stock knob. Then you need to slide the bottom ring that has the sparco logo on it on the shift boot. You then need to put one of the supplied plastic pieces in the knob itself. After the plastic piece is in the knob you should begin tightening the allen head screws supplied (they are easier to start when the knob isn't installed). Then put the shift knob on the shifter and tighten the allen screws the rest of the way. Then just screw the little sparco ring piece you put on in the first step and you are done. The boot seems to stay up pretty well on its own, but you way want to use a zip tie or other device to hold it up better.
I ordered the Sparco shift knob from SRI. I had a good experience with this vendor. A fair price and timely shipping.
