Well since I asked the question a little while back if anyone had any pics of their spoiler install, I figured I’d post my pics. I did the install myself and I know how goofy the instructions are, so some real pics of the install are always nice to have. So here we go.

First pull off all the plastic that covers your lift gate. I didn’t taken any pics of this because it looked to be self explanatory to me.

Next locate the mounting hole locations.

After finding the hole use a centerpunch to mark the hole from the inside and drill your way out. I know this is the scary part so make sure you get it right the first time. I used a centering drill bit, and then used a standard bit. The centering drill makes things a lot easier in my opinion.

Now that you have a hole, put your template on the outside of the liftgate and line up the hole on the template with the hole that you have created in the liftgate. I found that the best way to do this is by actually placing the bolt through the hole in the template and into the liftgate.

Now that you have it lined up, punch the next hole, and drill it out. Again I would use the centering drill bit first and then a standard drill bit.

After your holes are drilled, line up your spoiler with the bolts. If it’s a little tight you can always open the holes up a bit. After lining everything up remove the spoiler. Now what you need to do is clean up the holes a little bit if necessary w/ a dremel bit, or any other sanding device. After you have cleaned up the holes, use some touch up paint and paint over the bare metal. Finally reinstall the spoiler and you are done. It should look like this:
