Okay, show of hands, who all's wanted a cargo net for their New Age Sedan?
'course, all we've had so far is the Wagon cargo net which doesn't really work well with the sedan. Well, like alot of things on the New Age, the old skool comes to the rescue! Here's what you want: Subaru P/N F5510FS000 "2000/2001 Impreza Sedan/Coupe Cargo Net" It'll run you about $25 from your Subaru dealer. It's a SNAP to install! Took me all of 5 seconds and it works/looks great. First, pop out the little plastic "rivets" that hold the trunk liner in. (on either side of the trunk lid... where you access the taillights) ![]() Then, slip the little metal "nuts" onto the metal tabs that the rivets engauged. ![]() After that, replace the liner making sure to tuck it back under the rubber gaskets and then screw in the hook. ![]() Then, install the net with the "handle" towards the front of the car and you're ready to haul! ![]() That's it! It's a great invaluable mod for those who haul stuff in their trunks and don't want it rolling and bumping around. Vostok 7 |
