I just tried to post this on the WRX section but I couldnt so I'll post this here. Hopefully a Mod will move it to the right section!

I finally decided to try and figure out how to zero my gauge back. I got it from the factory not zeroed so I finally had some time since my boss wasnt at work.

Its pretty simple. You take the stock gauge off and in the back there is a hole for the light. All I did was take out the light and took a really thin screw driver and started to mess with the gauge. Inside there is a spring. On my crappy aftermarket gauge I did it buy rubbing the spring inside but it didnt work cause its alittle different with the lamco gauge. First you need to unscrew the 2 nuts in the back. After you do that take off the circuit board. There should be enough room for you to stick your pinky inside. All you do now is rub the ring inside the gauge. Its not the spring itself but the ring thats on the outside of the spring in the middle. Its pretty flexable. Be gentle with it. It took like 10 mins to get it perfect. I even screwed up and made the gauge read .05 of vaccum by mistake but after messing with it some more it was perfectly in the middle of zero. Sorry I dont have pics of this cuz I'm at work. Maybe one day it will be off again and I can zero it back and take some pics. I hope this helps those out who are having a problem with their boost gauge Lamco or aftermarket.
